If you are searching for a SUV
vehicle that brings you more “smiles per miles” than the new Jeep Wrangler,
then just go ahead and buy it. The odds
are so much in favor of this iconic off-roader, especially with the improvements
to this new Wrangler.
It is larger, smarter, and
more comfortable, tuned just right for highway use and keeps the Rubicon model
for those serious off-roaders. You will
nod your head in agreement, when you visit the new Wrangler up close and
personal with the friendly folks at Waxahachie Dodge Chrysler Jeep RAM located
at 2405 N. Interstate 35-E in Waxahachie, Texas or by calling the dealership at
469.517.0043 and take your expectations for a spin.
You will also understand why
the Jeep Wrangler was Motor Trend's SUV of the Year and discover that “less is
more” as you can shed the skin with the removal of doors and even the
roof. Yes indeed, the doors come off
easier, the roof is simpler to operate and even the windshield folds down. How
cool is that? On top of all that, the
new Wrangler can prove itself as an everyday driven vehicle along with being a
weekend expedition toy.
The round headlights and
slotted grille are still there, but this new Wrangler is taller, longer, more
comfortable, and retains its steel fully boxed body on a framed designed
chassis. Also, underneath the Wrangler is a five-link suspension for improved
highway experiences. The front and rear
axles have available locking differentials and an electronically disconnecting
front sway bar that really helps when you venture from the pavement to
off-road. It still has nearly 11 inches
of clearance and up to 30 inches of water fording. Other upgrades include the hood, fender
flares and doors made with aluminum and the rear swing gate changed to
magnesium. That change greatly reduced
the weight of the doors for an easier take off and on. Even the Wrangler's
doors have a new notch below the armrest to assist in handling.
Now since the Wrangler is also
used as a daily driven vehicle, the Jeep engineers tacked on road refinement
and comfort amenities. The popular one
is the new transmission that has wider gear ratios from a lower first gear to
help out on the unbeaten paths with more torque to a higher final-gear ratio for
your highway driving with enhanced throttle response and quicker smooth
shifts. Jeep even added a new
electro-hydraulic power steering setup to give the driver better steering feels
with an even smaller turning radius.
Not done yet, as under its new
hood lives the tried and true V6 or it can be the new 2.0-liter turbo four that
punches out 268 lively ponies and nearly 300 lb-ft of asphalt/dirt grabbing
torque. This new turbo comes with the
new 8-speed automatic while the V6 keeps its six-speed. Despite all these improvements, the new Jeep
Wrangler retains its classic styling that we have come to admire and cherish
for over 70 years.
Why not put that important
“fun factor” back into your drive-times?
No time like the present to check out the new Jeep Wrangler. You will not be disappointed.
